Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the manufacturer of trailers in North America in 2009 is pleased to announce that the demand for their 4000D-X Composite dry van trailer continues to rise. As the first dry van to meet the EPA SmartWay requirements, the 4000D-X Composite had set the bar for other trailer manufacturers to follow.
Mesilla Valley Transport and McNay Truck Line are two of Utility's customers that have added the 4000D-X Composite to their fleets. Both companies see the benefits from Utility's unique design and intelligent engineering. By utilizing the advanced foaming technology of Utility's 3000R refrigerated trailer, the 4000D-X Composite continues to be one of the lightest dry van trailers in the industry.
"We were looking for a lightweight dry van with a 47,000-pound payload capacity for a major beer distributor and we were pleased that Utility's 4000D-X Composite met those requirements," said Royal Jones, President and CEO of Mesilla Valley Transport. "For several years we've worked closely with Utility Trailer Sales of Southeast Texas, Inc to spec high quality, lightweight dry van trailers."
