Walter China held the "New Products Release" at Beijing New China International Exhibition Center in the afternoon of 11 June, a day before CIMES 2010. Mr. Per Tornell, general manger of Walter Great China Area, and Mr. Juergen Daub, market R & D manager jointly chaired this conference.
In the conference, Mr. Per Tornell first summarized the development of Walter Group and then Mr. Juergen Daub made a systematic introduction of the new products to be launched in this CIMES 2010. Finally, Walter described the details of its new products and technologies including Tiger tec Silver cutter, ALPHA series cutters, Conefit module type hardening milling cutter, Al2O3 physical coating new technology and more.
Tiger tec Silver cutter is the main product to be launched in this exhibition. Its innovative CVD-Al2O3 coating greatly improves wear-resistance, while the pre-treatment and after-treatment of coating optimizes its performance. This product is in an advanced position when comparing with other existing products. According to Mr. Juergen Daub, the company is now cooperating with University Karlsruhe for developing new technologies and will launch new products within three or four years.
While answering questions of media in the release conference, Mr. Per Tornell and Juergen Daub expressed that they are absolutely confident to the market prospect of Walter Group in China and over the world.
