The 10th CIMES 2010 is successfully held in Beijing on June 12. On the first opening day, adsaleCMJ.com see at the site of the exhibition that the visitors are crowded in an endless stream. All of exhibition halls in the Beijing New China International Exhibition Center with the exhibition area up to 120,000 m2 are used for the exhibition. This edition of CIMES is one of the biggest exhibitions in the sector of machine tools and tools this year. There are 101 enterprises with exhibition area more than 100 square meters, which exhibit more categories of products.

However, enterprises' delighted feeling is mixed with worries for the second half of the year. "The ‘thirst' status appearing in the market in the first half year is abnormal to some extent, and this situation might not be sustainable in the second half of the year," a senior manager of a well-known cutting tool enterprise said to the author. The responsible person of the Chinese Region of a famous measuring equipment manufacturer told adsaleCMJ.com that, based in the United States thought that the slack business season will come soon, "for the machine tool sector, the peak season of sales is generally at the beginning and end of a year, as users will work out an investment budget for equipment and start to implement at the period and thus stimulate the sales figures. But in July, August and September, the investment budget of enterprises is nearly used up, so the low season will come out."
CIMES 2010, lasting five days and closing on June 16, is jointly held by China National Machine Tools Corporation, China National Machinery Industry Corporation and Reed Exhibitions.
