CMJ：Mr. Wang, please talk about the new robot product IRB2600 exhibited at the site, and what innovative functions are added on it?
Wang Yiguo：The IRB2600 on show at the site is the upgrade version of IRB2400 and will be sold at the end of this year or the early time of the next year. This machine is featurized of impact body, strong load-bearing capacity and optimized design, suitable for arc welding, material transportation, material loading and unloading and other purposes. It consists of three sub-models and the installation manners can be flexibly selected from grounding, hanging, support, inclination, inversion and more. This is a robot with versatile applications.
The major advantage and innovative function of IRB2600 is based on its larger movement scope, higher precision and faster speed，and can effectively shorten production cycle. This machine will play an important role in the aspect of enlarging productivity and improving efficiency.
CMJ： How does IRB2600 perform these functions?
Wang Yiguo：The extraordinary working scope and flexible installation manner of IRB2600 makes it easy to reach the target machine without any disturbance against auxiliary equipment. As we know, optimized installation of robot is an effective measure for improving its productivity. Furthermore, IRB2600 is featurized of optimized design and impact structure, and its rhythm time is 25% less than the industrial standard. The patented QuickMove movement control software makes its acceleration at the highest in the similar products and realizes the max speed, so that productivity and efficiency are enhanced.
CMJ：In recent years, the automotive production capacity is going up quickly. However, in the second half of this year, certain cooling trend showed in the market. Some automotive producers took corresponding modification actions, and all of which will affect sale of your robots and launching new IRB2600 or not?
Wang Yiguo：I've seen this trend, too. But the influence will not be so direct and quick, because automotive industry has an immense foundation and is relating to the development level of the concerned industries and the whole economy. Take IRB2600 as an example. This robot is being produced just in Sweden nowadays, and the supply is unable to meet the demand in the market. It will be launched at the end of this year or the early days of the next year. Customers are in queue for purchasing this robot after knowing the news.
